-What programs do you use?
I use openCanvas 3.03e for the lineart and Painter IX for the "coloring." Bijarr used openCanvas 1 except for page 15 she used Painter IX.

Currently everything is digital. Anyway, it goes like this:
1) I make thumbnail sketches in MSPaint.
2) I make a real sketch out in openCanvas...it looks a lot like the thumbnails, just fleshed out, haha.
3) I add lineart layers. I make a separate layer for each panel just in case I wanna omit/change that particular panel. I usually make separate layers for backgrounds, too...I'm just a mess. Sometimes I get like 15+ layers. TT^TT)
4) I add a color layer (1)! Well, I do this one in PainterIX...but I copy it and paste it as a new multiply layer in oC. XD
5) I copy and paste tones on separate layers depending on what panel they're being used for.
6) I copy the whoooole thing and add text in Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8. ...it's the easiest for me to use.
-What are these thumbnails you keep talking about?
They're mostly just ugly, disgusting, nasty, circley figure drawings without hair, generally used for paneling and what I want the text bubbles to say. Example: pgs 12+13
-How did you start the comic? Where did you get the ideas for it?
I told Bijarr I wanted to create a comic based on certain events in her life. I designed characters, we said we should make a comic of it, and here we are now! For more information, please check the about section.
-How do you guys collaborate on the style, views, and ideas used for the comics?
It's pretty easy because our original drawing styles are pretty compatible (I think) as it is, so there's not much work there. As for views/ideas, all we do is come up with a situation we want to happen and I add details and put it into story/comic form. Luckily we have pretty much the same humor/ideas in the first place, haha! ...except the gay. I add too much gay. (Sorry, but apparently I can't be stopped..!?)
-Are the characters based on real people?
While the characters themselves aren't based off real people, they were inspired by real events revolving around Bijarr. I just added personalities to them. However, Landon's appearance in particular was inspired by a guy I saw at work wearing yellow high-tops.
-Is this the first and only version of the comic? Will you try to publish it?
Yes, right now it is. I don't plan on having it published unless the comic gets super hardcore popular, but I doubt this. Right now I don't like how the comic would look all together as a book. XD Buuuttt, if I still wanna use these characters in the future, if I ever get really good at comicing and wanna publish TINF, I'd shorten it as a oneshot comic.

It's a mixture of both. For the most part Bijarr and I have a general idea of what we want to happen in the comic but we don't have all the details drawn out to make it flow. I always have a bunch of pages thumbnailed before I draw though so I know where I'm going.

N-no, I'm sorry, that wasn't part of the plan..! However, I have a horrible, horrible sense of humor so you can look forward to countless gay jokes.

If I reveal Sydney Morgan, it won't be for a loooong long time. I'm still debating whether it can be known to the readers first or not though (I might since I don't want you guys to get bored). Julian's mom is a big fan of Sydney Morgan herself and introduced Julian to the novels. He has a soft spot for love stories with happy endings, it touches his heart..! Unfortunately the burning love he feels for these books clouds his judgment and he openly admits to loving and having such an embarrassing hobby. He can't hold back, you know?
-Does Julian punch hard?
Unfortunately for him, he doesn't. He's getting a lot of practice on Landon though, so I'm sure he'll be a bodybuilder by the end of this comic.
-How many piercings does Landon have? When did he get them?
So far only two: eyebrow and tongue. He got them in-between when he was 13 and 16 years old. I haven't planned that part of the story out in my head though, sorry. :9

Hahaha, well, as the story goes on I'm trying to make Isaiah as a moderating-type of character. There can't all just be chaos, right? Landon has a lot of "friends," but he doesn't really care about them; Isaiah's his best friend. I'm not sure how Isaiah puts up with Landon though...I guess he has a crap load of patience. Plus, Isaiah says Landon's "not as bad as he seems." Whatever that means. I'm hoping to add an Isaiah arc sometime. *w*)

Julian's dad is there! He's working! Don't worry, I hope to get him in sometime. We seem not to know where Landon's parents are, sorry, it's a mystery (he doesn't talk about personal things). Isaiah's got a pretty big family, but I assure you they exist! ...and so does his girlfriend. Has anyone met her yet, even?

I don't know an exact location, all I know is it's not a city and it's not in the countryside. XD I imagine Julian moving in from a city-like area, his parents probably wanted to move to a safer environment after having children (too bad they didn't know about Landon beforehand).
